Just underneath the main title, it says "its happening so fast" so maybe we can expect for a fast paced movie about growing up faster than the young girls should.

The movie looks like its being mainly targeted towards young girls, with the young girls together and the title being "thirteen", but the colours dont exactly match, being dark and dull. The movie is rated 18 and i think its targeted towards girls 18-25.
Representation:
The movie poster shows 2 young girls sticking their tongues out, both have tongue piercings even though them seem to be underage. This could make teenagers come across as rebellious and immature.
